Captain Glen Morean is a 14,000-hour, 39 year-old airline captain with British Airways (BA), based at the London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. His professional flight experience includes flying to destinations in every inhabited continent, and he has been a commercial pilot for 21 years.
Please join ACE in welcoming Retired Captain Dave Bushy. Captain Bushy is an Executive Coach and respected former airline executive with extensive leadership and operations experience. During the course of a 37-year career, he was a leader in transforming cultures and facilitating change at three different airlines.
Dave served at Delta Air Lines for 25 years, as a pilot and eventually Senior Vice President of Flight Operations. He served as JetBlue’s Vice President of Flight Operations from 2003-2006. Cape Air/ Nantucket Airlines recruited Dave in 2006 to serve as its first Chief Operating Officer and then President.
During the course of his career, Dave was instrumental in coaching and mentoring new leaders. Dave currently coaches a number of executive clients throughout the country. He is also active as an airline and operations consultant and has worked with companies in both the United States and the Mideast.
Dave’s approach is one of understanding and respecting the culture of an organization and working with leaders to build awareness of their own developmental needs and those of their companies – in the process defining and implementing meaningful action and lasting change.
A U.S. Army veteran, Dave is a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Dave earned his M.S. in Industrial Relations from the University of New Haven and has worked extensively in labor relations throughout his career.
