Delta Day 2019 @ Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center
Aug 17 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Please join the Black Aviation Airline Pioneers (BAAP) for Delta Air Lines Day as part of the Monthly Speaker Series. The August 17th’s Aviation Speaker Series presentation is unique because the speaker’s presentation represents only one portion of “Delta Day 2019.” In addition to the scheduled speaker’s presentation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, but from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to speak with a plethora of Delta professionals representing numerous departments of Delta Air Lines.

For August’s Speakers — Delta’s AMT’s Hugh Johnson and Cedric Morris. These gentlemen are two of Delta’s finest Aviation Maintenance Technicians. Cedric Morris is a 14-year Delta B-757 aircraft specialist who travels the world addressing issues involving the B-757. Hugh Johnson is also a 14-year veteran, he is responsible for the assembly of over 15 engines per month, with a cost of roughly 5-50 million dollars per engine. As you can see, in addition to the presence of Delta pilot professionals, Flight Attendants, Mechanics as well as the Department of Diversity and Inclusion, this is one Aviation Speaker Series event you will not want to miss.

After 5 years, and numerous Speaker Series presentations, Saturday, August 17, at 11:00 a.m. is very likely, going to be the best we have ever had at the Fulton County Aviation Community Cultural Center. Therefore, not only should you personally attend, but you should also invite leaders of your organizations, your coworkers, your friends, and family members, as well.
